Open hood, standing in front of vehicle, driver's side, under the breather tube, in the transmission bell housing, large slot, possibly with a rubber plug in it.

NOTE----> be certain to follow the instructions in a service manual before attempting to set the timing.
You must temporarily disconnect the coolant (on the front of the engine, near the ignition coil) temperature connector before attempting to adjust the ignition timing.
If you don't, you will adjust it outside of base timing spec, and it will be hard to follow the timing mark, as the computer uses ignition timing to help stabilize the idle.
When you disconnect the CTS, the computer is in essence being told to go sit in a corner until you are done.
When you have finished, reconnect the CTS and restart the engine.
The "power loss' light should be out after the restart, and the cooling fans(s) will revert back to normal operation.

Good Luck
