Transponder is a device, which has a unique number which it sends out to identify what it is. It is mostly used in Aircrafts and any of the flying objects. Now a days also used for tracking vehicles.
A transponder constantly sends signal of its location with its identification number, so anything which has a transponder in it can be easily identified and tracked. Even any person holding a transponder in his hand can be uniquely identified.
