Myself I'd spend the cash and take it to a Ford dealer and let their service people change the coolant.

At the bottom corner of the radiator there should be a drain valve turn it counter clockwise and open the cap it will drain the radiator and block. Then fill the radiator and the reserve bottle up and start the car and let it run until the thermostat opens and then add coolant until it is at the safe line. Good luck

i own a repair shop, and all you need to do is ,get a good sized pan,and loosen the radiator cap up some,,then loosen up the drain plug on the bottom of the radiator and let it all drain out in the pan,,it may take a while for all of it to drain,,but just let it take its time,,once its ll out, refill it with a 50- 50 mixture of new coolant, and make sure you get it full.sometimes they,ll make you think there full but wont be all the way,,be sure you re-tighten up the plug on the bottom of the radiator before you start filling it,,good luck i hope this help,s.
