Maintenance & Repairs - September 2006

I hear a noise in the right back side of my car when I push the brakes pedal down, I think the brakes pads tighten toward each other and cause the noise, I am pretty sure that the back tire is part of this noise, sice I hear something touching it while I am slowing down. I don't know the reason the reason for this and hopefull somebody can explain it here. What is the average cost to fix the problem? and is it dangerous to stay like this? Thanks!

I skidded on the road due to surface water and my wheel took most of the force now it rocks side to side but only when below 30mph is this due to my wheel alignment being knocked out of sync or something more serious and expensive?

my dads truck was wrecked 3 years ago today (9/14/03). he has everything fixed on it now, but he needs the wiring diagram for the dash (turning signals, headlights,etc). does anybody know where i can find a wiring diagram for a 1965 ford f150?

1993 Pontiac Transporter, my tachometer went beserk the other day, then stopped, now it is working. My wipers quit working the same time, now they are working again, yesterday my automatic door locks stopped working, worked last night and quit again today, anybody have any ideas of problem and solution????

I am older and disabled so the simpler the better. Thanks

I own a dodge intrepid 93. Auto, air con, 3.3 Lt . The motor over heats and i was told by the mechanic what needed to be changed and all that i was told has been done.......
These are what was done.
- New radiator, new radiator cap, flash raditor and filled with new coolent with the right mixture, no air trapped in line and system was bleed, Both the fans are working fine, No connector to the fan issue, New fan switch, New water pump, New heater block, No kink in the hoses, Check for leak in the header and this fine and no damage or issues, Header gaskit changed as well just to be sure, no water residue in oil found, Check the pressure and thats fine, relace all the hoses metal and other wise, New thermostate, Change coolant heat sensor, recharged AC, New relay, New belts, New oxygen sensor, Transmission oil change plus new filter, engine oil change with new filter.....
Ok so here is the issue....doesnt heat up if I drive below 35 MPH on flat roads. Heats up if i go up hill.

My Oil & Garlic pasta dish spilled out of the container and onto my car seat. The leather seats are perforated (heated/cooled seats)...so it got into the cushion beneath. I cannot remove the leather off the cushion, its stapled onto the seat frame. I've tried Meguires leather cleaner and Febreze...no luck. Can I use baking soda and H2O on the leather without damaging it? HELP!!

oil is fine, radiator ok but it over heated.water tank leading to radiator was boiling as was temperature gauge.
filled it with water again once cooled but ran it for 5 minutes and temp boiling again.

I own a 06 Honda Accord and was hit by fellow passenger in the parking lot. There was a minor paint damage at the rear bumper. Fellow passenger mentioned that he would pay what ever the amount it takes. I already inquired in Honda showroom and got a quote for minor body work. Is the body work from Honda showroom reliable. Any pointers on how to go about this without affecting car history, carfax, insurance etc? The bad thing is that this is not even my fault
