Once you get back under load, pressure reads normal. I am assuming it is the sending unit, because if the oil pump was on the way out, it would be worse under load. Has no blow-by, burns very little oil, leaks some. 220,000 miles runs well. Am I wrong, or what? Again, the oil pressure only reads low at stoplights after driving awhile. Should I be greatly concerned? Thanks, Dan

Ok well I own a 1994 GMC C2500 Sierra Regular Cab. For some odd reason my lights aren't actuating (brightening). Before I bought a bulb or any bulb I took out my brake light unit and I used a test light to see if I get any brake signal, but I have no brightening. Thing is that I have my signals and my lights come on with headlights and w/e, and I even have my third brake light, but a 3rd brake just uses a ground and signal wire for when to come on, whereas the brake light has ground, signal and power. So is it my brake switch that is screwed, would anyone know the obd1 code for a bad switch?

I have a 1997 Toyota Corolla and all of a sudden my left and right turn signals dont work
my head lights brake lights and corner lights all have light bulbs that work
when i pull the indicator arm down no green arrows and no clicking noise in side and nothing outside as well.

I have replaced my "flasher" with a new one and checked all the fuses i could find and they are all good.

Do I have to replace my wiper and hazard light switch arm unit or can I check something else cheaper and easier.

Should I check all the wiring at a mechanics or what?

My car has an aftermarket alarm (professionally installed)

My car is in great shape and nothing else is wrong with it.

What could it be, I cant drive it with no signals! please help!

I have a 2003 Nissan Altima and when the check engine light went then my car started having starting problems. It was cranking too long before it started. My dad thought it was the spark plugs so he changed them but it was still having problems. I then took it to this guy to hook up the scanner and find out what the problems was. The diagnosis came up as a crank shaft sensor and that the car needed a higher octane. I asked the guy how much he would charge me for the diagnosis and he said it was free (?) untill he fixed the car.
My engine light was off for like 5 mins then it came back on. It's been on ever since. So now I've had my crank shaft sensor replaced outside of his care and it is starting good again but the check engine light is still on. Will that go off on it's own or will I need to have that turned off by by scanner and if so how much do you think a regular mechanic would charge to just turn the light off. No work included?

In some states, such as New Jersey, they have attendents who pump your gas for you at the gas station. Everytime I pay them for the gas, I feel as if I'm supposed to tip them...but aren't they paid to do that job? Please help! What do I do? I'm single and have no kids and I work at a hospital!

I just installed a new rear u-joint on my 2001 Tahoe, it feels to tight after installation, I had to over tighten the joint to get retaining clips in, is this normal or do I even need to put clips in it if it is to tight or do I have a wrong sized u-joint?

I always feel like they give me the run around. I find them to be very dishonest, and that whenever I bring my car in to get serviced, my car mysteriously has othe rproblems shortly after. It is like they purposely sabatoge my car so that I will come back to get that problem fixed and spend more money.

I have a 1947 Willy's jeep with no drive shafts or u joints. The U-joints look to be around the same size as those used on a big trucks pto. SInce the sizes are about the same size I was wondering if using pto u joints and drive shafts could work.
