I Think it is coming from my tranny. It will vibrate in intervals of 1 to 3 seconds while traveling between 35 - 45 mph. Anyone have any Ideas? '98 3.8L V6 150hp 4 sp automatic with O/D.

Whenever I start my car all the gauges go all the way to the right then after a second or two come back to normal. I just replaced the CPU last year but I seem to remember them doing that before when the cable leads to the battery were loose.

What will the price range be if I restored my 1966 mustang Coupe Shell? The car is a complete shell with old paint on it. I have no Idea on how much it would cost if they stripped my car to bare metal and the painted it raven black or viper blue. My car is 95% rust free and I need a idea on how much it would cost. I hear a strange knocking noise, especially when I start it cold. Before I heard this noise, I do admit, I would run it pretty hard. I change my oil every 3,000 miles with Castrol Syn and I keep up to date with all my fluid exchanges, air filter etc... When I have it at Idle, I rev it between 1300 and 1500 rpm and the engine and steering wheel vibrate pretty hard, when I pass 1500 it idles smooth. The knocking noise seems to be coming from the bottom of the engine. I also have a rear main seal leak..can anyone tell me what the sound may actually be? And am I better off selling it? or actually fixing these problems. This may be off the subject, but recently, I had a dream that I had 2 suitcases full of money in my car...this may denote that I will be putting to much money into the car, money in which I do not have. I had this dream 2 days before me hearing this sound. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you for your time.

how would you seal a whole with wires running through it?? is there a better way to run the wires? i really dont want any leaks so i want to avoid drilling

ok i have 302 i am rebuilding to put in a 1978 cj 5. I purchased the intake from a 1991 grand marquis. The block i belive is an 87 and has the e7 te heads . I have been doing research and i wanted to know what is needed to make this engine an "h.o" or is it even worth it to do it. The intake comes with the engine harness but i also wanted to know what harness would be good to get for the computrer. I know i need the computer and harness but what vehicle would be a good donor?

little bit of snow covering the hood and I put the wipers on, they went up, then didnt go back down. I cleared all the anow out of the way and tried turning them back on so theyd go down, but they wont. Any idea whats going wrong?

It starts if you touch solenoid with screwdriver. We just don't know what else to do. Could it be a lose connection or something? About 2 outta 10 times it starts fine. HELP PLEASE!

now it want fire off. is there a fuel reset button or maybe a drain bowl for water contamination. when i left his house he decided to spray some starting fluid in the air intake and a small flash fire occured. what caused this? any help on getting the car running would be appreciated im just not a mechanic and his daddy isnt around.

I live in Tennessee. I am looking for a Complete distributor for my 1965 f-100 truck. It has a 352. I need the one with a 5/16 shaft. I can buy a new one at o'reilly's with a 1/4 inch shaft, but that's all I can find and it CANNOT be used. Any ideas?

I'm getting an ATI Procharger for my 1996 V6 Mustang and the guy that I'm buying it from told me that I might have problems if I run the supercharger at 11lbs of boost on 91 octane. Can I do this? I was planning on getting it dynoed and tuned after the install. is anybody else running this setup?

Hey, I'm pretty ignorant about cars, but I'm really low on power steering fluid. I have a 2001 Ford Focus and its about empty. I know I can pick up regular power steering fluid on my way to work, but my question is does it matter if I pick up a particular brand or will any do? Thanks for any help

starter runs good, battery at full charge(875 cold crank amps), interior electrical works fine(a/c, windows, lights). Engine cranks very slow, requires a jump everytime to start. What may be wrong?
