I live in Tennessee. I am looking for a Complete distributor for my 1965 f-100 truck. It has a 352. I need the one with a 5/16 shaft. I can buy a new one at o'reilly's with a 1/4 inch shaft, but that's all I can find and it CANNOT be used. Any ideas?

352 is the same as 360/390 engines 74 on down

Actually, Ford had a 352 in a NASCAR car for one year, but the good parts will be terribly hard ( & $$$ ) to find. If you want power, I'd also say go to a 390 based block.

I dont remimber an "FE" big block with a 1/4 itermediate shaft . Any "FE" distributer that had points should work , try Ebay. 352,360,390,406,410,427,428 . You can find mallory distributers for the big block for about $50.

There one one there now at $10 type in " ford 390 distributor"

You sure it's not a 351 Cleveland or Windsor motor? If you are asking for the wrong part, that might be why. You could be right, though, I'm not big on Fords.
