starter runs good, battery at full charge(875 cold crank amps), interior electrical works fine(a/c, windows, lights). Engine cranks very slow, requires a jump everytime to start. What may be wrong?

fords are notorious for having starting problems because of bad grounds. check your ground cable make sure all nuts are tight and there are no breaks in the insulation touching metal parts.

my guess is bad connection possbly at battery if a jump can get it started...

Check all grounds and powers for dirty/loose connection

Also depending upon the year (after 1992) Ford had 2 seperate starter relays....yes 2 of them.... for example on the 1997-2003s, they have one on the firewall and one on the starter

Besides the other answers, it could be burnt contacts in your starter solenoid. That way the starter is not getting the full voltage. Just something else to consider and check.

crank it with the lights on if lights stay on while cranking your starter is bad if lights dim or turn off check battery and grounds hope it helps you
