Ok, had a insufficient egr valve CEL, so I seafoamed where the egr mounts on the intake manifold. First time was good, smoked out some carbon so I did it again...

Now the CEL came back on and is blinking, car feels like its gonna die at idle because it shakes. Also pings when accelerating. Took it to autozone, pulled the code say a cylinder 1 misfire, i'm gonna check the plugs next. Any ideas?

I have a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee and the A/C went out recetnly. I had it repaired at the dealer. They stated that the "accumulator" was faulty and needed replacement. I went ahead with those repairs. The accumulator ended up costing over $200. Is the normal? Seemed high to me.

why wouldn't you buy a g35 coupe with a rebuiilt title? what are the odds that it would have problems later?
I found one with $31000 miles, 2003, navigation system, 20 inche rims, total cost $16,000. I still haven't driven it yet cause I want to replace the tires with the rims, with the original tires to see how it would drive.

and the tensioner and the idler pullies? I got the old timing gear off, but now I can't get the new timing belt over all the gears and pullies no matter how much I wrestle with the belt tensioner. I've loosened the tensioner bolt, put an allen wrench in the hex-hole in the face of the tensioner pulley and turned the pulley to allow maximum clearance for the belt to pass straight through down to the crank gear. I've tried prying the tensioner with screw-drivers away from the belt, prying the belt onto the crank-gear, yanking on the belt really hard, everything I can think of and the belt's too tight to get it around the 2 cam sprockets, the crank gear, the idler pulley, and the tensioner-pulley. All I need's about 1/4" more belt and I'd be able to get the timing belt back on and then worry about the surpentine belt. I may have to get the car towed tomorrow to the ford place to let the pros do it. Is there a way for the tensioner-pulley to move even further back giving more belt to go

I have a 1992 Volvo 940 non-turbo that stalls while I am driving down the road at highway speeds. I will be driving along at 75mph and the engine will just stop runnning without warning. Everything else electrical is not interrupted. It will restart just fine after turning the key off and waiting 30 seconds or so. It seems to mostly happen when the car has been running for 10 or 15 minutes and is almost warmed up. Once it is warm completely it does not do this. It does this on both dry and wet days. I have replaced fuel pump, fuel pump relay, air and fuel filters, plugs, wires, ignition module, and distributor cap and rotor and it still does it. It is very intermittent and very annoying. Anyone have any ideas ?

I got another motor put into my van which eventually (after less than 6 months) began knocking very loudly, so they replaced it again. It's a 3.0 liter V6 engine. Now this one has begun knocking not as loud for the first 6 minutes after you start it. They told me my year and model van tends to blow its engine easily. Is that true? This one only has about 72,000 miles on it. I thought Dodge was a good brand of vehicle. Please help, thanks!
