When you install hard top for s2000 do you have to take off the soft top?

or can you just put the hard top with the soft top still in tact?

the convertible top is an electric motor driven top and cannot be removed. the convertible top is lowered and put in the 'top down' position with the cover (boot) installed over the top and then the hard top is put on the car so that the soft top is enclosed under the hard top with the rest of the passenger compartment.
