I recently bought a 2007 Mazda 6 5-door and it came with a 6-disc cd changer. the instruction manual said that it plays mp3s so i made a cd full of mp3s and couldnt wait for my car to be filled with 700mb worth of mp3 x 6! however, wen i put the mp3 disc in, the cd player would not play it. i could see it stuck on track 1, and time passing by, but there is no sound whatsoever. how do i make it play mp3s?? is there a special program you have to download, etc?

*i know it plays burned cds because i burned a couple songs on a blank cd (but made it a 12-track audio disc)

any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks!

My 2ga power wire just stopped delivering power and the only thing that it could be is the fuse, it dosen't look blown though because the metal inside isn't severed. its a little melted and contorted but not enought for me to think its blown...

I drive a '07 VW Rabbit, and it has support for Ipod use. There is an auxiliary input to it, but i cant seem to find any product that works with it. I specifically need one that lets u control the ipod through your car's stereo...yes its possible.

I haven't blown my speakers, that I know. They won't work for a week and then one day, the bass comes on out of nowhere. Someone told me that it could be a fuse. Does that sound right? If so, how do I know which fuse it is that is bad?

I'm thinking about buying that Sony Xplod 1000Watt 2-channel amp from Walmart. Is that a bad buy? I want only 1 sub hooked to it. Is a 2 channel what I want, or do I need a "mono" amp to get the most out of the amp. thanks in advance..

Does that sound a little ridiculous to you? I mean wouldn't that just be an mp3 file or a CD? Would you pay for that for music you might not even like? I don't know if it was to subscribe or what though

I have a 1994 nissan sentra and have alot of power that is going to be put in it. 6 channel 40 rms a/d/s going to my in cars then i have a orion 600d mono(290rms @ 4 which will be brought down to 1 ohm) So like 600 rms to each of my massive 12's. So 600 rms to each of my two subs and 40 rms to each if my in cars. 1200 for the two subs and 160 rms for all my car speakers. 1360 rms will by needed from my car extra. I have a 5 fared capacitor. So does anyone think that i will need a high output alternator or will the cap do the job with out frying my alternator everyother day????

I have a Percision Power A200.2 amplifier with these specs..."Power ratings at 11-15V:
2 x 50W @ 4 ohms
2 x 100W @ 2 ohms
1 x 200W @ 4 ohms bridged
Fuse: 30A
Manufactured in 1996" How do I get the most watts from the thing? I have a few subs laying around, but I think this sub might be meant for factory car speakers. Should I get a new amp for subs? thanks..

I just bought an '03 CTS and I have an amp and subwoofers that I would like to hook up. I don't want to replace my existing audio system seeing as the radio not only controls the radio but other things in the car as well, so replacing it would make me lose all of the extras. It has a stock amp in it along with a stock subwoofer. It has a Bose premium system already in it that came with the car. We have hooked it up, but can't get it to sound that great. Does anyone know the wiring diagrams for the stock amp, or have any advice on how to do this?? Thanks!!

I can hear static in my car stereo speakers only when my car is running. I have an aux in jack in the front of my radio and I plug my ipod into it. But i just got my car back yesterday after it had the heads redone and it started doing this. It doesnt do it with CDs and it doesnt do it when the car is not running but only on accessories. Only when the car is running is when the static is there. Then i unplug the cord from the jack and it stops. It didnt used to do this. Anyone have any idea?
