I have a 1994 nissan sentra and have alot of power that is going to be put in it. 6 channel 40 rms a/d/s going to my in cars then i have a orion 600d mono(290rms @ 4 which will be brought down to 1 ohm) So like 600 rms to each of my massive 12's. So 600 rms to each of my two subs and 40 rms to each if my in cars. 1200 for the two subs and 160 rms for all my car speakers. 1360 rms will by needed from my car extra. I have a 5 fared capacitor. So does anyone think that i will need a high output alternator or will the cap do the job with out frying my alternator everyother day????

ive been told 500 max watts for every .5 fared capictor soo... 1360 rms would be like a 4 or 5 fared capictor

A cap can never be too big. MAX and RMS aren't equal.

A capacitor will be useless in your case - it will only strain the electrical system further. The alternators in most cars like civics, corollas, sentras, etc don't exceed 50 amps. You will definitely need a higher output alternator. Aim for around 150 amps. Sell the capacitor and use the money to buy an alternator. Also, don't forget to upgrade the wiring under your hood with zero gauge.
EDIT
Just saw you are using an Orion 600D. Great amps, but it only puts out 600 watts RMS at 1 ohm. So you're talking about 300 watts RMS per sub, not 600. You might still want to upgrade the electrical system though.

me personally would go with a high output altenator because at night when booming around town your head lights will be drawn down and if its raining wipers are going maybe defroster is going wow be draining all your juice...
you wil be spending more on equipment then the price of your 94 car. boost up your battery to try looking at cruthchfield.com

first off your cap is too big. get need a 1 fared. try that. if it doesnt work, then get a alternator.
