Does that sound a little ridiculous to you? I mean wouldn't that just be an mp3 file or a CD? Would you pay for that for music you might not even like? I don't know if it was to subscribe or what though

you have to have an hd compatible radio and a tuner or a radio with the tuner built in. you get more stations than normal radio and usually better reception but you dont have to pay like you do with sat radio. not all areas have the extra hd stations though, most big cities like detroit(i live in the detroit area) have it and its expanding to more areas and more stations all the time

i've got observed this as nicely. My mom has a satellite tv for pc radio in her automobile. on the information/communicate channel she had enjoying, the voices have been notably tinny and intensely very nearly robotic. The song channels sounded extra advantageous. A flatter EQ would desire to be a thank you to pass right here, as turning the bass and treble up too lots (smiley EQ) each and every so often purely makes something at a low bitrate sound worse. My own opinion... they'd desire to do away with each and all of the channels that purely play songs via one artist/band, as those artists would nicely be heard on different channels besides. the distinctive classic rock channels that sound such as a minimum of one yet another would desire to be blended as nicely. Then that bandwidth would desire to be extra to the relax channels, getting better the sound high quality.
