That's a lot like a 95 year old lady getting a breast enlargement.

I own a body shop. I know cars inside and out. When cars stop becoming reliable transportation and start becoming extensions of your personality, you have lost sight of their real purpose. Now you will dump all your money into something that makes you feel "cooler than the next guy." Trust me. Save your money for something that matters. Cars, no matter how cool you make them will only depreciate in value (except for true collector's items, and no not your old import or anything else you saw in "the Fast and the Furious" except for the Charger)
If you put that same four hundred dollars into your house or your 401k, then it will be worth something in a few years. Dump it into your car and it will be money wasted. Somebody will total out your car and that sound system will be depreciated 15% for every year you had it. After three years it's worth half of what you paid if it even still works.
