Are than any other gps devices other than the tomtom go 910 that offer ipod compatibility?

yes. Pioneer N3, and Z2 are both excellent navi units that will play your i-pod and about anything else you want.

If you are planning to replace your headunit. Alpine and Pioneer offer pop-up screen GPS units that are compatible with absolutely whatever you could every want to hook up to them. DVD player, PS3, iPod, you name it.
