The buzzing is because the membrane of the speaker has torn. Because it is no longer one piece, it vibrates instead of just pulsing like it is supposed to.

I've never heard a blown speaker "buzz". They usually scratch - but it is probably the voice coil rubbing against the rest of the driver.
