its a rockford fosgate and i want to hook two 12 inch kicker subs to it

To get the most out of this amp (nice choice, BTW) would be @ 2Ohm stereo. Either get dual 4Ohm vc subs (vc's from each wired in parallel to the amp, 2Ohms) or single 2Ohm woofers.
Run it @ 2Ohms stereo or 4Ohms bridged to get all the power.
KickerCompVR's would be, oops I just read about your subs
You'd only be able to get half of the amps power by loading it @ 4Ohms stereo.
If you want the most output, you need 2Ohms stereo.

That'll be about 200 watts RMS to each sub which can handle 400 watts RMS each.

well sure, it'll work, but you just have to be careful not to overpower the subs and blow them

..RF's are good subs though..it'll take a lot of effort to blow those subs dude
