How do these three look together?
Sub: http://www.garnerstereo.com/products.php

Enclosing: http://www.garnerstereo.com/products.php

Amp: http://www.garnerstereo.com/products.php

I don't know a whole lot about the scientific mumbo jumbo but these three looked good to me... was looking to see if anyone would change anything or if they would know of a better combo for a similar price maybe? any input is helpful. I just want one sub... i'm not looking to show off but I still want a good solid sound so i thought that sub looked good and the amp says it only has one channel but if i'm only powering one sub then that's all I need right? 12" sub so I got a 12" enclosing.. made sence to me.. just any opinions would be nice.

Okay, this has been killing me for a while now. Whenever I try and push my Type R (2OHM-1500W) I get "CUR" displayed on my amp and it cuts off completly. Everything is set up correctly. Just changed the groud from 8 to 4 gauge and still the same.

Installed this HU on a bmw e46. It works fine but on the radio u can hear some static . You can listen to the radio but this static on the background is very annoying. It was installed at an authorized car audio shop and the antenna is not the problem . I'm thinking it could be some settings that i need to do . Any ideeas ??

I know that at the very least there would be a performance drop. The situation is i have a old 10" passive sub sitting around from a home theater system, and i have a alpine mrp-650 amp hooked up with power, just no sub to plug in at this time other than the sub i mentioned. it's not in my buget to get what i want eventually, so i am looking for a temp fix. I just don't want to hook it up if there is a chance it would somehow damage the amp.

This got knocked out in an accident and although one side is firmly reattached the other side remains loose. I dont know if something on the face plate is broken (easy to get a new kit) or something it is attached to has broken (probably expensive) so I'm trying to find out how it's fixed onto the car.

I used a online box design program to get my deminsions. Do I need to make two seperate boxes or can I just double all the deminsions? Does there need to be a wall inside the box seperating the two chambers? Thanx

I know the type-r is rated at 500 watts rms, but I also know that some people advocate overpowering a little (which doesn't make sense to me, but whatever) and I was wondering how much you can usually overpower. I was going to power this woofer with 600 watts rms at 2 ohms and 800 watts max at 2 ohms. would i be better off running it at 300 watts rms at 2 ohms and 500 watts max at 2 ohms?
