Okay, this has been killing me for a while now. Whenever I try and push my Type R (2OHM-1500W) I get "CUR" displayed on my amp and it cuts off completly. Everything is set up correctly. Just changed the groud from 8 to 4 gauge and still the same.

An over-current problem usually means that you're hooked up to a load impedance that's too low. This can be caused by improper subwoofer wiring, loose or shorted speaker wires or a blown subwoofer. If I were testing it, I'd start by disconnecting the speakers and measuring the resistance through the speaker wires with a multimeter.

you didn't mention your amp, is it stable at 2 ohm? is it a stereo amp that is bridged? typically they are only stable to 4 ohm.
