i have a pioneer GM510T 760 watt cea2006 amp and 2 MTX ROAD THUNDER SUBS 4ohm SVC that are 800 watts peak and 400 rms. the amp is 2 channel and the sub box only has 1 neg & pos terminal...if i wire this amp bridged (it can be bridged) to the subs would it power them properly?? PLEASE BE SPECIFIC!

you need to make a hole on the box and put in the wires. otherwise you will run the amp at 2 ohms(shorter life if it can even take it) are they separated??? what type of box is it?? send me an instant message and i can guide you through it

Here's the problem: if you have two 4-ohm single voice coil subs, and they're wired together in parallel, then the total impedance is 2 ohms. That's fine for most mono amps, but it doesn't work well for a 2-channel amplifier in bridged mode. Most bridged amplifiers are limited to a minimum of 4 ohms. Connecting a bridged amp to a 2-ohm load may cause it to overheat, shut down, or blow fuses.

What you can do is re-wire the subs in series inside the box. This will provide the amplifier with an 8-ohm load. It's still not ideal, and it won't let the amp come close to its maximum output, but it will allow the amp to run both subs safely through the single terminal on the box.

The ideal amp to run both of those subwoofers would probably be a mono amp with around 800 watts of output at 2 ohms.

the speakers are 4 ohms each both of them together will give you a 2 ohms load you can play it that way but the amplifier is going to get very hot and turn off in 20 minutes or less
the best way to wire the amplifier will be one speaker per channel and the amplifier will play at 4 ohms the get the most out of the amplifier you need woofers that are dual 4 ohms
or you need one more amplifier 1 per speaker
i know that is not what you are looking for but it is just how it will work
good luck
