I am currently a student and my poor car is on it's last legs. My parents are unable to get the finance as they have just got a car themselves on finance and because I'm a student nowhere will be give me finance. I have an income of around £600 and only have outgoings of around £175. I don't go out and drink, and as far as I'm aware I have nothing against my name for there to be a bad credit history, if anyone has any ideas it wiould be much appreciated. Thanks!!

I bought a car from a guy I work with. I paid in full and the car is insured under my name. I also have a bill of sale and a receipt. The problem is he still owes the bank money for it so the bank has the title. Can the bank repo the car from me if he stops paying them?

Hey guys,
I recently bought a new mercury mariner hybrid, since its an suv that gives over 34mpg in the city. It comes with a 6 year, 60,000 mile warranty. However, I have heard some rumors that mercury might not survive...since ford/lincoln/mercury are basically the same brand, will ford cover the warranty if mercury does not survive?

My car only has 81,000 miles on it but it's 12 years old. The only reason I'm selling it is because I've had it for a year and now I no longer enjoy it so I want something newer and different. Thats it!There's nothing wrong with the car! Yet whenever I tell people I'm selling to get a new car, they dont believe me, even after seeing first hand that there's nothing wrong with it. The only reason people ask: "why are you selling?" is to find out if the owner is selling because the car has problems. As if the owner would really answer that truthfuly if they were selling because the car has problems. Give me a break. Such a dumb worthelss question. They think that my excuse is a red flag that there's some hidden problem with the car. Did I miss the memo that said people are no longer allowed to want newer, different things? It's gotten to the point where I'm going to have to lie. Anyone know any good believable excuses?

I am planning of getting a cheap, economical, left hand drive car to drive through Europe for a few months but the paper work involved in importing the car to te UK initilaly, seems quite diffcult, also left hand drive cars for sale in the UK seem quite expensive.
I have however found a cheap left hand drive car for sale, with PORTUGUESE number plates. The car is in the UK now- is it difficult for me to register it with UK number plates?

My learning challenged son of legal age went to a car dealer on the promise of $100 to test drive a car. When he came home he had purchased a Ford ranger at 5000 over the book price. at 16 % interest. He has two children and there was no where for them to sit. (high pressured) He took it back and tried to give it back and they threated to impound the truck. He was upset and I went down there to see if i could straighten it out. The man told me the only way out of the contract was for him to exchange it for a Lincoln LS. It was very high pressure and that was the only way to solve it. The Lincoln was priced at much more of the 'real value' so he was pressured into signing for it as the only alternative. He really didnt want a car at all.
He cannot read or write. He is of legal age but does not understand the ramifications of 16% interest on a 20,000 loan over 72 months. There is no 3 day opt out where we live. The dealer said it was a "special event" that moved through and not his prob

100K is the absolute maximum I can possibly go

It needs to have enough room in the back for 3 kids
It’s for my wife not for me (she is paying)
We both really like this one

iam thinking of getting this 1999 toyota solara sle for $5000, from a private party he wanted more but we nagociated to $5000. The car still has 18 months of warenty left on it, it also has 117,000 miles, quiet a bit but for a toyota i think its nothing. 98% tire left, its even got rims not too big tho, black leather seats this and that. it runs like a charm, i test drove it the day before yesturday and its like super quiet, i opened up the hood and the engine is soooo clean, he showed me a recipt from a toyota express lube and tune up, the oil has been changed almost every 5,000 miles, and he just changed the timing belt about 2 years ago at 80,000 miles. It got tinted windows, the only down side is the blemeshes it has on a rear bumper from backing up into things, I love it, do you think $5000 is worth for a '99 toyota that has 117,000 miles
