The car has a free carfax report and there have been no problems nor accidents reported. Its priced just perfect for my budget, and that's hy I'm wondering. It has no scratches, nor does the interior look bad. It looks quite good actually

For some cars, that is not a huge mileage. As somebody said, 14,000 miles per year is average.

However, that's average for an average car, not a lightweight fun car like the MR2. I doubt if many get driven more than 6-8000 miles per year.

I would also question insurance. I'm sure most companies would refuse to insure you, and those that would take the risk would charge an arm and a leg. Or maybe money doesn't matter to you? I'm presuming that it does!

Furthermore, the MR2 is a particularly useless car. It's good for fun, but absolutely nothing else. It has no luggage space. It can carry one other person. That's great if you never have to carry anything or if you don't have friends. But if you can't pack enough to go away for the weekend, or carry your xbox anywhere except on the passenger seat, that quickly becomes a pain.

If you divide the mileage by the years of the car, 70,000 miles isn't so bad (not if the car is in the condition you mentioned). It averages about 14,000 miles yearly, which is about average for life in a medium sized town, with lots of open roads. Before you jump at the chance to buy, get a blue book value reading, just to check the market pricing of the vehicle. It will be to your advantage, and help you get the best deal possible for your money. Hope this advice was useful to you, good luck and hope you don't get a lemon...(smile).

That works out to 14,400 miles per year. The average is between 10 & 15K per year depending on where you live. Also, there's a big difference between 72K city miles, and 72K highway miles.

im sorry but 70,000 miles on any car is pretty bad, if its something your going to spend a lot of money on i would advise you not too.... it would be a watse, and you would have to make repairs soon. That would end up equaling up to a brand new car... so be wise
