I'm looking to buy a truck and these are 2 of my favorites i have looked at so far. Does anyone have information regarding either of these trucks that would help me make a decision?

A car salesman insisted that they had to run a credit check "by law" to sell me a new car, even though I was not applying for financing. I left, and want to confirm whether it's true or not before I visit the next dealership. This is in Washington state.

I am planning to buy a new car that can take me to my university, being a student i am looking for an economic, low maintenence, low on fuel cosumption car. i have been doing a research on couple of low budgets cars and my final options are Hyundai Elantra 2.0(this is good, but dont like the music system, radio etc plus it doesnt have a CD player , no keyless & no ABS), now days even Yaris & Honda city comes with Cd players and keyless entry. 2nd option is Sonata 2.4 mid option (but still no keyless entry, 8000 AED more than Elantra) it is stlightly high on fuel but has a better resale than elantra. which one should it be?
P.S i live in Dubai - UAE

I'm so confused. My car was JUST repossessed and I'm not sure what my best options are right now. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I can't do anything until Friday. Great timing, huh? Anyway, my latest bill says I owe $1041.00 to get current; however I only OWE a total of $1600.00 to get my balance paid IN FULL. I have had this car since 2002. What are my best options right now, seeing as I have VERY LITTLE money to work with???

I have a SC2 1996 Saturn that I bought 9 months ago for 2g. The interior is nice. It's clean. But it's just not.. up to date. No power locks, manual windows. It needs a new paintjob, i've put money into it for new batteries, tires, and other things.

I really want a new car. I like Hondas. My boyfriend has a Honda Civic EX. But I've heard good and bad things about them. I like the Subaru WRX STi. But. I honestly don't know anymore.

I want a cheap car, that I can put a bit of money into, and have it look nice. But I honestly am confused as to what to do.

We traded in our 2000 Nissan Sentra plus $500 down payment. ($4,000down payment) We got to the dealership to "look", showed us some vehicles. We saw a 2003 Ford Explorer. Sticker price $499/month. liked it, but too high. THe guy said he could get it UNDER 400.We went inside and did some talking, ran our "VERY GOOD" credit. Said is was def. possible to do it under 400/month. So we had to sign some paper, saying we "agree" to do business with them. We did so (stupid us now) because we were told it would be under $400/month. They did some checking with the bank over and over, trying to make a deal. They came back and said 375/month. So we agreed to it. Sounded good. Well, we got back ot the room to sign things. They would NOT TELL US how much the vehicle was until we got back to the room, after we signed the papers. NUTSHELL= Kelly's Bluebook value is 11k. After fin. we are going to pay 27k for it. we're paying 416/month. They ripped us off. We don't want it now, bc of that, what now?
