i need alot of advice basicly i want a good car for no more than 8,000 i know thats not alot to work with but i need to make it work lol i want a safe car with 4 doors not an suv.. should i buy new or used? what brand or specific kind? its gotta be cute too lol HELPPPP any advice is appreciated thanks <3

You could probably get an 03 or 04 civic for that amount, they are decent looking, safe, and have good gas mileage

The best compact cars on the roads today are Toyotas and Hondas. A used Totyota Corolla or a Honda Civic automatic 4-door sedan will give you the best bang for the buck. They have had the highest reliability ratings for small cars from independent Consumer Reports for over 25 years. Don't focus on "cute", focus on good value for your money. With the Corolla or Civic, you will have a smooth ride, a responsive engine, good fuel economy, and a vehicle with a proven track record. Stay away from the domestic brands - they're just not as good as the two top Japanese brands. (I have a 1996 Honda Accord 4 sedan that I bought last year, and I plan to keep it for many years.)

This is not the time to buy a car or invest that much in a car.
Save your money and in 2008 or 2009 you can buy a car that will be good for the environment with either bio diesel or nickel cadmium . the types of environmentally friendly cars will be available in one or two yrs.

You should be able to get a good solid Buick sedan 2000 thru 2003 for that price.
You couldn't get a new car for that price. Even a Smart Car costs around $10,000

it is hard to buy a good use car now and days when some is sell it. its because they are having problems most of the time with it if you like a car and you want to buy it take someone like a mechanic they know most of the time if a car is good just by test driving it and hearing the motor when its on just be carefull on your own ask advice of dad or etc......good luck

Dodge Stratus or Chrysler Sebring 4 door.. less than 50,000 miles.... mine's a 2002 and I love it.
