"AS IS" means just that. You bought the car and according to the law, you presumably had ample opportunity BEFORE you purchased it to inspect the vehicle and include things like a missing door key in your negotiations. Now the negotiaions are over, it is your car just the way it sits, and you will have to pay for a door key.
sorry for the bad news
I hope that everything else is great with the car

At some time the ignition switch was changed. Apparently the ignition key had been lost and that was the solution. You don't say what car you have. I would contact a locksmith for info. On Chrysler, and maybe others, if you have a locking glove box you can remove that lock and take it to locksmith. It has a number inside to make new key. Check with lock smith for advice.

Why would you accept delivery for a car without the door key??????
Dealer is right. You bought it "As Is" and it's now your problem. Go to a new car dealer for that make and ask if they can make a key for your door. They usually just need the VIN# to make new keys.

yet you realize a thank you to force, don’t you? in simple terms open the hood, start up the engine, get out of the vehicle and watch the engine working. If no vibration, no friction noise, no oil leakage over the motor, on the pipes or under the engine, and the hoses, the fan and AC belts are no longer cracked, then the vehicle would desire to be in solid subject. do in simple terms one element until now you're taking it for a try force: on an identical time as this is working, block the exhaust with a splash fabric and look ahead to a pair of seconds, if the engine is going off, then the vehicle is okay. of direction there would desire to be no seen dark and pungent carbon dioxide popping out of the exhaust, otherwise the engine would be in choose for a kit-fix. ultimately, take it for a try force and use your very own feeling to decide how effective the vehicle is ...There would desire to be no guidance wheel vibration, no gasoline or oil scent interior the vehicle, and the accelerator would desire to be so effective which you will sense the gasoline burns precisely as much as you opt for it to, via urgent the gasoline pedal gently on an identical time as looking on the vehicle's speed. If the engine is susceptible, you will sense that the vehicle isn't responding on your foot top, meaning the gasoline interior the combustion chamber isn't being burnt thoroughly. do no longer ignore to verify the subject of the tires until now you journey, and don't ignore to attempt the brakes until now you over advance up. solid success!

THEY DO AND THEY DON'T CARE BECAUSE THEY HIDE BEHIND THE "AS-IS" AND MOST PEOPLE ASSUME AND THAT IS WHAT GETS THEM IN TROUBLE.
