You mean 08? I think it's March

It depends what country you are in.

In Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales) the "08" registration starts on 1st March 2008, and runs until 31st August 2008.

In the Republic of Ireland the "08" registration starts on 1st January 2008, and runs until 31st December 2008.

Northern Ireland does not use a date identifier on its registration plates.

March 2008. I bought a new car once.

Best to buy second hand, i know driving around in a brand spanking new one is great but it loses so much money in the first yr. I bought a car in jan 07 for £11,000 and now is only worth about £8,000.
A new one will lose around £3,000 in its first yr. Think about it i know i wont ever buy new again. But its your choice after all.
