Hey guys,
I recently bought a new mercury mariner hybrid, since its an suv that gives over 34mpg in the city. It comes with a 6 year, 60,000 mile warranty. However, I have heard some rumors that mercury might not survive...since ford/lincoln/mercury are basically the same brand, will ford cover the warranty if mercury does not survive?

Yes, Your warranty is valid at any Ford service center.
By the way, the hybrid componants are also covered for 100,000 miles.
Enjoy your Hybrid Mariner, & don't forget to take advantage of your Federal tax savings when you file your income tax return this year!

When oldsmobile stopped making cars they still honored their warranty's on their cars. I'm sure this company would do the same or give you a refund for some amount comparable to what the warranty would cost etc.

YOU SHOULD BE CONCERNED ABOUT THE WARRANTY BECAUSE EVERYTHING THAT I HAVE BEEN READING IS JUST WHAT YOU HAVE SAID.

I WOULD CONTACT THE MANUFACTURER AND SEE WHAT THEY SAY AND AT THE SAME TIME TRY AND GET SOMETHING IN WRITING FOR YOUR PROTECTION CONCERNING THE WARRANTY ISSUE.

GOOD LUCK
