We moved from Florida to Arkansas and had some discouraging moments here. Its very nice country though the mud and snow can create problems. Not looking for a pick-up truck. Any ideas?

So this car has never seen a Northern Ontario winter until this year.. it has such high km's because it has been driven to and from Florida every year, its a 4 cylinder , has new brakes, new timing belt, new spark plugs and wires, the body is in MINT condition and has a $1000 stereo system in it.... do you honestly think it will last much longer with that many kms?

My car is damaged, and i'm upside down in my car payments, my car is only worth about $1,000, but i owe about $5500. My credit isn't all that good b/c of credit card bills, and i want to get another vehicle, but i dont have the money to put down, i will down grade if i have to. my car is an 02', i will get an older one, maybe with about $6000, but how can i get them to add on my payoff to the existing $6000 car without having to do a down payment?? My car is junk (its an oldsmobile, go figure) and i just want to get rid of it....any ideas??please help

We signed a bill of sale stating as is, and I signed over the title to him. He wrote me a check for the amount of $500, and I deposited it into my bank the next day. A few days went by, and he called and informed me that the car was not functioning the was he expected. He test drove it and had been driving it since. I told him that it was a bad turn of events for him and there was nothing I could do. I made sure he understood that the contract we signed was an 'as is' agreement. Today, my bank had withdrew the check back, and in calling them, I found out that his account did not have the funds available. I also contacted his bank and they say the same thing, but cannot do much about it. What actions should I take to assure that he pays me for the car? Is this something the police need to get involved in? What type of laws or statue's are there that protect pepole from bad checks like theses? Any advice on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

All the roads were flooded today on my way to work.... I really need to buy a 4x4 .... I have been looking and think a 02 freelander would be alright .... 1.8 ltr Auto.... so good on the fuel side.... Then buy a second hand 03/04 Audi TT roadster.... for the week ends....
A sensible car and a fun car....Rather than buying a brand new car....
What do you think ....?

I know £20k is not a huge amount.... the rest is going a 2nd property....

I've seen a sports car i want to buy, it looks in great condition and has only 55,000 miles on the clock so I am very tempted, however after running an ownership check on it i've discovered that it has 5 previous owners, this seems a little extreme for a ten year old car!! Part of me think this is a bit dodgy and another part of me realises that with these kind of cars people tend to own them for a couple of years and then upgrade to a newer model as they can then get more exchange money on it being fairly new. What are your opnions? anyone have any experience or thoughts on this?
