i own a repair shop, and i think one of the very best ones is a Nissan sentra they don't tear up much, give real good service, and also look cool ,especially for a teen ager ,and the insurance is cheap on them because there not considered to be a sports car but there one of the best ,and most reliable cars on the road, keep them maintained real well, and they will last forever,,the Toyota corolla is also a good car,but not as good as the Nissan try looking at a few of them,i think you,d like one, good luck,i hope this help,s.

If you can swing a new one give Toyota LE Camry a test drive. Great fuel economy 35 on trips, 28 in town. If you're average height, 5' - 5' 9" you'll fit like a glove. Colors are not as hot as I'd like but may appeal to you. Glass area is such that they're easy to see what's around you. Large trunk area and adequate seating for six footers. Maneuverability is outstanding. Great factory sound systems.
