When your car is in the garage they sometimes give you a courtesy car until your car is fixed

If for example your own car has been damaged and you have made a claim to your insurance company, your car will then go in to the garage for repair. The insurance company (if it is withtin your insurance terms) will provide you with another car while yours is being fixed! That car is called the 'courtesy car'!

A courtesy car is something that is smelly, cheap, crap to drive and something the garage doesn't care about when they lend it to you when your car is in for repairs.
