It has been repaired- we bought it with a salvage title, but now the paint where the repair was done is bubbling and peeling. We need to know what an outside appraiser may put the value at. 38k miles, no navigation.

I still owe about 5,000 or less on it but i want to get a different car cause i can't afford to get this one fixed all the time and i want a jeep. (i used to have one and i miss it so much!) I need advice on if i should get a new car, how to get a new car, or what......anything please help!!!!!!

Ok...I went to the car dealer specifically for the $299.00 / month x 39 months lease special. $2000 down plus the first month payment. THey pull my credit and say that I don't qualify for a lease (even though my last two cars have been leased and NO late payments.) BUT they have "great news! and some "good numbers". I do qualify to buy...for the SAME $2000 / down but $560 / month x 72 Months!!!!!

So to recap...
Don't qualify to lease at $299 / month x 39 months, BUT
Do qualify to BUY for $560 / month x 72 months!

Who can tell me WHAT IS UP WITH THAT??? I walked out!

I am looking to buy the new GMC Acadia. We have financing in place (will pay with check), no trade-in. How far can the dealer usually go down on the price? The incentives on said vehicle are $500.00 - is that all they can do or are they able to come off the price more? Just want to know if they tell me the truth when saying: "That's the best we can do for you"....yanno?

Im about to buy 2 cars (for really cheap!) from a guy that lived in Australia (I live here) but is now in Greece becoz of "FAMILY" + "WORK". This is basicly wat he said in his email: "Since I have no more relatives back home, I brought the car with me thinking that I could register it here. However, because of the big differences between the AU emissions and the Greece ones, I can't register it without spending a fortune. Here is what I suggest:we will use Global Pack Shipping for payment and shipping which acts like an escrow service ( www.gpshipp.com ) you make the payment in an GPS managed trust fund ( they hold the money until you receive the car ), I send the car over, you can inspect it, take it to a mechanic to check it out, drive it and then decide if you keep it or not. If, by any reason, you will not be satisfied with it ( even though I can assure you that it is exactly as described), you can return it at my expense for a full refund of your money, no questions asked" FAKE?

I AM HEARING ALOT ABOUT THE NYPD AUTO AUCTION AT THE BROOKLYN NAVY YARD AND THE ERIE BASIN AUTO POUND IN BROOKLYN. I HEARD THAT CARS GO FROM ANYWHERE FROM $500-$2000. A CO WORKER TOLD ME THAT HE GOT HIS 98 BMW FROM THERE FOR $700. IS THIS TRUE? I WENT TO THE OFFICIAL NYPD SITE AND CAME ACROSS THE AUCTION INFO BUT IM STILL ON A FENCE. HAS ANYONE EVER BEEN TO ONE?
