I like the look of a Hyundai, but I had a Hyundai Scoup a while back. I had nothing but trouble with that car. I had it in to be fixed about every 3 months for 5 years. As soon as the warrenty ran out, (about 50 miles out of warrenty) The same thing that had been happening all along was diagnosed as bad fuel injectors. This is a very expensive problem that, if fixed one of the 18-20 other times I had it in the shop, would have cost me nothing. In my opinion, they rigged it each time it was in to make it a little longer until that warrenty ran out. I did some research later and found that this was a common problem with these cars. I would never again drive a Hyundai.

I just rented one for 30 days recently. It's actually a very trouble-free car and drives just like my friend's Honda Accord, although I do think it falls short in the MPG department by just a little!. They also kind of look like a Honda Accord!

It's a nice little car that you get used-to very quickly. The ride is very smooth and feels like it would last a long time.

Unfortunately it's not MY type of car, and I would never buy one for that reason... but this is not to say that its the car's fault. It's just me.

I'd say go for one, but as always... being a used car I would advice you to do your homework with http://www.carfax.com etc...

Good Luck!

My daughter has one and it's a very nice car. The interior is well appointed and it rides as good as or better than other cars in its class. Good mileage and decent looks make it a pretty practical car. Having said all that, be aware that these cars are made in Korea and have suffered from quality problems in the past.

Not bad for a Korean car. They have come a long way over the years.
