do audis break down a lot?

im going to buy a 2005 A4, but i was wondering of they were good cars, and do they break down often

I know someone who had one and had persistent fuel injection problems getting it to start. When he brought it in to a local repair place they worked on it for several weeks and finally told him they did not know how to fix it and that their mechanic said he woke up every morning crying in frustration over it.

He donated it to a charity that towed it away for parts.
