Which cars are the best gas-wise? I'm looking for a new car and since I drive a LOT, I need a car with really good gas milage. Any ideas?

I like the Poniac Vibe, they are pretty good on gas and look good too.

Hi, I would suggest a Scion,Toyota,Honda these all get great gas mileage and not at a high cost. All of these are low maintenance and hold their value great. They do make some American cars that get good mileage too. But they lose their value very quickly. Good luck!!

Civic hybrid or Toyota Prius are going to be the BEST as far as gas mileage.

Subaru's do well also.

Honda Civic is easy on the gas and holds on to it's re-sale value too.

Hondas are pretty good, I have an Accord (96 I think) and it gets like 36 miles per gallon.

Drive a lot (really really a lot) then a diesel engine car is your choice of buying. Buses, Cabs & Trucks use diesel.
