Personally I would not recommend anything American made. Try the Toyota Forerunner or Lexus GX or LX series.

All are fine trucks and you don't get hosed like the Chevys when it comes time for depreciation.

I currently own an '03 Avalanche and an '03 Trailblazer. Both are very good vehicles and the new ones have 100,000 mile warranties. Here is my advice, though. Don't buy anything other than a full-size SUV unless you are absolutely certain that you'll keep it until it's paid off. Reason? Because small and mid-size SUV depreciate at a rate that'll make your head spin! My AV is still worth a little more than what I owe on it. The TB (even with 0% financing) is $6000 upside-down! The market is FLOODED with midsize SUVs. BTW, if you need a truck from time-to-time but haul people most of the time, I HIGHLY recommend the Chevy Avalanche.

I would recommend not buying an SUV at all. They are completely unnecessary, they support terrorism, and most importantly, they are destroying our environment. There are plenty of very fuel efficient vehicles that can meet all your needs without the drawbacks.

i dont know but we have a trailblazer and love it. if we could get anything else it would be a tahoe but those are pricier. just go to a few of the car dealership websites, or like to chevrolet.com or something and it will list all the diff. cars and you can see all the options and narrow your choices down.

No. But narrow it down to a few makes, and then search their websites...some of them allow you to compare vehicles from other makes and models
