In May or June I am thinking of purchasing a 2007 Shelby GT500. I am waiting for the high prices to go down a bit.

But will I need to contact my local dealer and order one months or weeks in advance? How does that process work?

I was dealing with a guy that I thought lived in the US and I figured out he lived somewhere in Asia. I payed around 75000$ for his 93 Toyota Supra. It got here and was a damn Celica that was all torn up. I call my bank and they said they can't do anything since I didn't get insurance and since he is a foreign dealer. What the hell am I supposed to do now?

I have a problem. I just broke up with my girlfriend and she was currently driving and paying every month for a 2006 kia sportage under my name because her credit was really bad. So now i am stuck with a second car payment to pay for her car. I myself have a 2005 mazda 3 that i make payments on. My goal would be to get rid of sportage payment some how. What are my options? I thought about going to a dealership and taking both cars and trading it in for one new or used car. The problem with that is im not sure if i could do it? The sportage would be negative $8000 equity and the mazda would be about negative $4000. So thats $12,000 negative equity that i would add to a new loan. Is that possible to do? Or is there a better option for me so i could still keep my mazda? Please help me.

Maybe some of you know what should i do with that situation. I went to the dealer. they showed me all CARAFAX papers which showed that car didnt have any accidnets. everything was ok... but after like 2 days when i bought a car, check engine light appeared so i give them car to service. I went to home and i have bought Carfax check of the car and on that CARFAX paper bought in internet it shows that this car had an accident and frame was damaged. It seems to me that dealer tricked me. I dont know if i can give them car back or negotiate about low payment or something? now i have this car like 1 week. Please help, tell me what should i do with it:( i dont want to pay normal price for crashed car...

At the end of the summer I am allowed to buy my own car. At that time I will have been driving for about a year and a half under my parent's insurance. I have 2 options as far a buying a car: putting about a $5000 down payment on a car and my parents paying off the rest before I graduate college, or buying a car for $5000.

The cars I would buy for $5000 would either be a mitsubishi 3000gt or a nissan 300zx. I like both of these cars, but they're not very "professional" and since I hopefully will have whatever car I buy through college, I want something that doesn't scream "hey i'm fresh out of high school and stuck with a sports car!"

As far as putting a $5000 down payment at a local dealership, my limit is about $16,000 at the most. For 16,000 I was looking at a used (obviously) BMW M3, Mazda Rx8, and Audi A4, or (if I get extremely lucky and stumble upon a) Infiniti G35. These cars look a little more mature than the ones I would buy for $5000.

i purchased a brand new car last year 2006 and have been good with my payments, i still owe money on the car but the problem, am leaving the country and may not consider coming back but don't want to ruin my credit history and also don't want to get in the habit of "who cares"
i recently found a friend who is interested in taking over the car adn the remaining loan, that way it doesn't get repossesed.

what are the steps of going about this? i will appreciate technical answers or life experiences of the same situation.thanks

I sold a truck to a guy 19 months ago. He paid in full. Said he'd be back to get it. It is still sitting here. I don't know his name or address. Sick of looking at it and need money. How long do I have to wait before I can sell it again. I live in Vermont. Never gave him a bill of sale. He paid with a Bank cashiers check, with no memo as to the nature of the transaction. a charge for storage was never discussed, as I thought he would be back soon.
