I was dealing with a guy that I thought lived in the US and I figured out he lived somewhere in Asia. I payed around 75000$ for his 93 Toyota Supra. It got here and was a damn Celica that was all torn up. I call my bank and they said they can't do anything since I didn't get insurance and since he is a foreign dealer. What the hell am I supposed to do now?

Sadly you have learned a $7500 lesson. If the seller is out of the country, and you can not find assets here in the USA, you can file a lawsuit but you will not be able to collect!

I'm sorry bout that man but I don't think you can do anything bout that. Can the bank find out the account that withdrew the $$? If you did buy it off eBay you can make a complaint but I don't think they have a very high success rate or if you transferred the account through pay-pal you can write them a letter telling em what happened. If that doesn't work you either have the option of parting out the Celica or just selling it to some tuner kid. What ever you do with the Celica you won't make all that money back. If they do find out what happened: Stay on them. Otherwise they might forget about you.
Once again sorry about that. Hope I sort of helped you. GOOD LUCK.

I have a 93 Plymouth Voyager van that I paid $2,500.00 (two thousand five hundred) for in back in 2000. If you paid SEVENTY FIVE THOUSAND U.S. DOLLARS for a 93 Toyota Supra, you DESERVE to be taken. Where are your brains??? How can anyone be so gullible?? What are you to do now? How about feeling like the most stupid person in the world. And buying it ON LINE!! OH MY GOOD GRIEF GERTY!! And you had it SHIPPED to you. Were you THAT desperate? Are there no car dealers where you live? Amazing! Simply amazing!

I think you made a typo.. Surely you meant $750, not 75000.

As far as getting your money back.. you'd have a hard enough time in returning a CD player, let alone a CAR. How much of the $75,000 was the shipping!? Most of it I bet!

Kiddo, you are soooooooo stuck!

Go get a brain transplant, my God, was that supposed to be a good deal? Seriously, a '93 ANYTHING is a really old car!!! Sheesh! Live and learn, if you want to buy an old junker, buy it on a street corner, not the Internet

If you paid any more than 750 for a 93 Toyota, I could probably give you therapy for say $ 1,000/ hr! Also, I have some junk in my basement I could sell you for maybe $ 15-25,000!

You have no legal recourse, especially since he is outside of the US, and outside of the reach of any US courts.

If you bought on Ebay, or a similar site, they may be able to help you, but looks like you got a pretty expensive lesson.

Go to Asia and kick his ***. Arrange to get your money through court; have someone call him like an attorney.

You can also file a complaint with FTC. And if it was ebay there too.
