Maybe some of you know what should i do with that situation. I went to the dealer. they showed me all CARAFAX papers which showed that car didnt have any accidnets. everything was ok... but after like 2 days when i bought a car, check engine light appeared so i give them car to service. I went to home and i have bought Carfax check of the car and on that CARFAX paper bought in internet it shows that this car had an accident and frame was damaged. It seems to me that dealer tricked me. I dont know if i can give them car back or negotiate about low payment or something? now i have this car like 1 week. Please help, tell me what should i do with it:( i dont want to pay normal price for crashed car...

I would stop and present this situation to your local county attorney. That's fraud and depending on local laws, the amount you paid for the car it could be a felony if you decide to prosecute. Stop at the courthouse on Monday, I do not think it would cost you anything to talk to them!!
Good Luck..........

You absolutely have a legal case. It is Misrepresentation and/or Fraud on the part of the dealer. First of all you absolutely have a legal right to have reimbursed to you the difference in the value of the car without ever having been crashed and after a collision (try kelly blue book or equivalent publication for info). You MAY have a right to absolutely rescind your contract IF and only IF buying a car that had never been in a collision was the only car you would have bought. In any event, if you still have the papers they gave you along with the carfax report you got then you have an open and shut case. You might want to call a consumer advocacy group with this and have them help you.

It makes a difference what "kind" of dealer you bought the car from (independent resale dealer - or a licensed GM/Ford, etc.) - also, the laws protecting consumers differ by state. However, if you bring in evidence that you were mislead (lied to) to the dealer and ask for your money back or something to that effect and they refuse I would contact local and state agencies that protect consumers from fraud (Consumer Protection Agency - Better Business Bureau). I do not know what you paid for the car, but you also might be able to file a small claims suit in court against the dealer. The dealer might not be agreeable to what you ask for but if you strongly suggest that you will pursue the matter legally or contact agencies that will defend you rights they may be more inclined to grant your request.
Good luck - unfortunately, you might need it. I've been down this road with a car our daughter bought and it hasn't been a pleasant journey.

I would probably take the carfax paper to the dealer & try to get a different car or my money back.
I work in collision repair & all the cars I have owned in the last 20 years have been wrecked, (most were totaled and rebuilt) but I either repaired them myself or knew who did the work.
There is a difference in the value of a car that has been in a collision, and you were lied to when you bought it. I would raise hell.

Contact the State and report them. It is illegal for them to sell you a vehicle showing you it was never in an accident and then you finding out it has had damage done to the frame. Damage to the Frame makes the car junk, You need to report them to the state call your town office where you register your vehicle and explain the situation and they will hwlp pyou with who to contact. I have been there my friend. It's not fun, good thing you caught it early and not like 2 months or 1 year down the road. Good Luck. You can take them to court get a good lawyer and take it to court.

They likely showed you the report for another car. Always do your own check. There's also no way they're going to admit they duped you with a common used car dealer practice.
Depending on what state you live in, and it's only been a week, you may have some legal rights for a refund.

9 situations out of 10 a motor vehicle dealership won't purchase a motor vehicle if the airbags have been deployed. it is showing up on carfax and basically they might only be waiting to sell the automobile at public sale, so which you the two take an exceptionally great hit on the automobiles cost finding out to purchase and advertising in or sell it outrite. i do collision restoration for a residing and the only way that a coverage organization will entire a motor vehicle is that if the wreck restoration cost exceeds the cost of the fairly automobile.

Take the papers back to dealer and ask whats up? Explain your dissatisfaction and do not be quiet about it. Explain that you are willing to compromise but this was a complete deception on their part and you have been advised to seek legal remedy if the dealership cannot rectify the present situation.

IF you have the original paper they showed you that says, no accident and you can prove it was in an accident they they are in trouble for false papers. Depends on what state you live in. Look into the laws for you state. Try contact DMV to see what state agency you should contact.
