Due to our soon to be growing family, we are looking to buy a mini van, but since we're on a tight budget need to buy something used, probably between 94-98. Any advice on which brands are better, seem to last longer and are safer?

Is there a government intity or a charity that can help her get transportation to and from dr.s. She had an old car but could no longer drive it because it was a standard tran. and she also now has a large electric mobility scooter that would not fit in the car. this lady lives in a small town about 100 miles from all her specialists she has to see every month. This lady has not left her home in almost 4 years except to go to the dr.s, and now she can hardly do that. There almost has to be help out there somewhere. I asked her to go with me shopping and she started to cry. She has not been shopping for even groceries much less clothes in over 4 years because she can't walk that far. Please help me help her.

I currently have a 2002 Kia Spectra...I owe $4,000, on It (61,000mls, good condition). This was my first car under my name alone, I pay $133 mth, at 6.9%. I want to trade it in or sell it whichever would be the best, But I want to get a car with a payment no higher than $200, I do have really good credit..And I'm not looking for a spectacular car or anything...maybe even a 2006 Kia....but should I get a loan from a bank....or should I see what the dealership has to offer??

I am looking at a 2007 Toyota Matrix, and am going in as a cash customer... I'm going to cut them a check ( I got my financing together ahead ). The MSRP on the car is $16688.00, looking on line the invoice price is from 14.2 to 14.7. I want to cut a deal naming my out the door price...tax, reg...the whole sha-bang included.
What should that price be?
They have had the car...2 of them, actually, for several months.

well, I posted earlier this week about a yellow '72 VW Beetle, and what I should do.
Since then, I have researched and researched on the internet for different beetles in my driving range, and have found a couple.
I considered ebay first, but I realized I could never talk my family into an ebay car, since we cant see if before we buy, and we cant drive it to make sure it works okay...
anywho. I found this car about 150 miles away in a town we visit regularly, and I would absolutely love to buy it.
According to the advertisement:
" same owner since 1988; approximately 113,000 miles on the body; 5,500 miles on the rebuilt engine; keep stored - no rust; new tires; beaded wheels; completely rebuilt from the engine, body pan to the top! Nice Car! MUST SEE!"
Of course,t here was other info, but that was the sellers comments...
Also:
history is: ·
Accident Free
· Clean
· Garage Kept
· Non Smoker

Its all for about $5000, which I can do. What do you think?

I drive a 2005 model while my husband drives a truck that is over 10 years old. He is finally getting the itch of getting something newer but is worried about payments. Now I have an idea but don't really know if its possible and practical. For my 2005, we pay $420 a month. If I were to trade in the 05 for say an 03, the payments could go down by half. Would we then be able to get my husband an 03 model and get a $200 payment, having 2 payments equal to what we pay for one car now? Is this just a nice thought but not going to happen in reality, or is it possible?

It is a black Nissan XE 4x4 (4 or 6 valve can't remember) Inside and out are fine. It needs a headlight replaced as well as some fuses.

75,000 miles and my friend who happens to be a dealer is offering it to ME for $3,400 ish (500 more than he bought it) though I will try to get it down to $3,300.

But either way is this a good deal?

Dear CLK owners~~~
I am thinking about getting used CLK 2001 or 2002. The budget is around $18,000 - $20,000. I never got used car before so I am little cautious about it, I mean who wouldn't, right? ^^

Currently, I own Audi A4, and I never owned Mercedes before. Is it good idea to get used CLK?
Also is it better to get it from the actual Mercede's dealer? They called it pre-certified.

Give me some tips CLK owner !!
Thanks!!!

PS. What is MPG for 320, 430 and CLK 55?

Ex-Rentals: Scenario 1: Stay away from them. You never know how they've been driven by potentially abusive behavior.

Ex-rentals: Scenario 2: Buy them, they are more than likely kept well by the rental car company insofar as maintenance and cleanliness.

Ex-rentals: Scenario 3: The same dealership who will try to convince you to buy the car, will apply scenario # 1 on you in order to give you less money for it as a trade-in later on.

What is the real deal?
