Is there a government intity or a charity that can help her get transportation to and from dr.s. She had an old car but could no longer drive it because it was a standard tran. and she also now has a large electric mobility scooter that would not fit in the car. this lady lives in a small town about 100 miles from all her specialists she has to see every month. This lady has not left her home in almost 4 years except to go to the dr.s, and now she can hardly do that. There almost has to be help out there somewhere. I asked her to go with me shopping and she started to cry. She has not been shopping for even groceries much less clothes in over 4 years because she can't walk that far. Please help me help her.

if the town has a handidart or small community that might be help for transportation. if she has mental disability and the community has special needs association she might qualify for assistance. her family gp should have community contacts to help her with assistance whether it be writing a letter for her to a government agency to help her with assisted living needs. no one should ever be jailed in their own home. if you have more questions email at littlemikey_73@yahoo.ca ps look to the businesses for support or to fire department . good luck mike
