I have seen this at dealers like Carmax and Enterprise. They give you a price and say this is it no more no less. What If I want to make an offer? will they not accept the offer?

The lien release dept of the finance company who financed his purchase of this car originally says they are overnighting the title release to him tonight. So he'll have that in the morning and can get the title to me tomorrow afternoon. As long as I have a signed sales agreement and a reciept for the money paid, can I go ahead and by the car? It's really a good deal and I'm afraid if I don't go for it, I'll miss out on it.

My friend wants to buy a 1992 Chevy S10 for 400 dollars. It has about 130,000 miles on it. The body has plenty of character, I.E. rust...the driver door is out of allignment, it currently has a dead battery and has been parked for about 8 months. The owner has made a lot of repairs on it, and replaced things. Do you guys out there think this is a good buy? He doesn't have a lot of money to spend on making any repairs, so what are the chances of it being dependable?! Thanks for the answers!

I currently drive a J reg micra, so very basic. I have my eye on a M reg micra, nice system, tax and mot till next year 07/07. No rust, 3dr, mot passed only 2 mths ago so I'm guessing there should be nothing serious wrong with it. Drives really nicely, has 5 gears (i only have 4 at the moment), and a back wiper, air con and heating work. £550.
It's a really nice car, complete luxury compared to the one I have now.

But should i get it?
