Hello i recently purchased an 1998 honda cr 125r used from a friend, he said it runs but the carb needed cleaning upon cleaning the carb I found it still bogs down in the low end and wont rev out in the top end. Could the problem be in the reeds or could it just be a bad carb, and what is the exact function of the idle/choke switch does it meter fuel or just change the position of the throttle. What is an easy way to tune a carb when you did not count the turns while disassembling. What is the gap supposed to be gapped to.

It is a 2002 Golf and i just bought it. I though they were amaizing on gas, but not this one it will spend a whole gas tank in a week and i only drive it to school, school is like 5 minutes away. Our 8 cylinder jeep is more efficient on gas than this little 4 cylinder.

What can I do ?

When these meters came into being did anyone else notice that they were placed in places where we had been told it was dangerous to park?

I was told from a friend a few days ago that Canadian Pacific railway added 2 more trains to the NS Lehigh Line. Canadian Pacific 256 would be running from Binghamton NY to Oak Island NJ and Canadian Pacific 257 would be running from Oak Island NJ to Binghamton NY starting in early December. I was wondering if that's true or not.

What's the best ticket/travel card etc to get and roughly how much will it cost me? Should I buy one ticket for the whole time I am away or purchase 2 different tickets on the 2 different days?

fightingchance.com uses fax machines to send bids to dealers and the dealers send you their best offer via fax. is this better than actually going into a car dealership and having to deal face to face with a car salesperson, which I do not want to do. I would like testimonials from people who have used this service or one like it.

I have a honda with a lot of miles, actually 221,000 miles on it and it is losing oil, since there is no place it is leaking it is safe to assume I am burning oil slowly. I am losing a quart about every 500-1000 miles. Some people may say that isn't much, but that is a lot for a honda. Anyways I want to know if I should use 20w50 oil or not. It is pretty darn thick. But I tried 10w30 and still had leaks. I should have probably tried 15w-40 or something like that. I have heard about thick oil is harder to circulate and can cause damage. Right now I have about 2 1/2 quarts of 10w-30 and one quart 20w-50. The car feels like it is running smoother. But I don't know if I should completely change the oil to 20w-50. And no there is no compatibility problems between the two oil I have used. I check everyday for the foaming oil signs. Also I have no smoke coming out of the exhaust, so my best guess it that it is a consistent leak. Any help needed, mostly about oil weights. :)

Can i go buy just 2 all season tires right now and put them in the front, or do i have to buy 4 tires and change them all?????

This car has a simple disign. Full body on frame. 1 air bag. 4 door sedan. Live rear axle. Vertical inline 4 cylinder. 4 speed automatic or 5 speed manual. Points, distributor cap, coil, and rotor.

Now does the car have a carburetor? Does it have emmissions controls? It's a 2.3 Liter 4 cylinder that has the cooling fan attached to the crank shaft harmonic balancer via a cooling fan thermo/mechanical clutch.

It's actually not that heavy a car. BUT it's got plenty of torque for a 4 banger. And the car is box shaped and extreamly safe.

PLEASE tell me now, why is it the car only gets 15 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway? 19mpg overall. That is pittifull!

Is there any way to boost gas mileage? Can you install a modified crank shaft to increase compression? How about a Turbo-Charger? How about CDI Ignition? How about replacing/swapping an automatic transmission for a manual, could that be done? Larger intake? Larger exhaust? HOW???
