None, if you can run fast enough.

Probably not a good idea. Better to have a snowball war with friends.

These things could happen:

1. An elderly person might think they hit someone and suffer a heart attack.
2. The person might see the snowball coming in their pereferial vision and swerve to avoid it, hitting a tree, another car, or a person.
3. You could dent the car.
4. Startling someone driving could cause them to run over pets, or rear end another car because they were distracted.

All of the above could carry civil and possiably criminal charges. Consider wheather you would want someone to do this to your grandmother or grandfather?

And last but not least, there are those that drive around with guns in the car and they have short fuses. You could end up hurt or even shot. What if you hit some gang member and they came back and shot your brother, sister, or friend?

If you run, the cops will just catch the slowest person and make them tell who you are. It is a lose/lose situation.
There are better ways to have fun in the snow.

Well, throwing anything at a car is illegal. If the car is moving, and your snowball distracts the driver and he/she gets in an accident....they are going to come looking for you. You could throw a snowball at the wrong person and they will hunt you down and beat the living snot out of you. Lot of different kinds of trouble.

If you cause an accident, pretty big trouble. It might seem funny but you are putting people's lives in danger. Throw snowballs at each other instead.

Lots. if you cause an accident, you could be brought up on criminal charges (worst case-if an accident occurs resulting in someone's death, you could be charged with manslaughter), and if you damage the vehicle, you could be financially liable for repairs, which can land you in small claims court. The laws vary from place to place, but it's just not a good idea.

Plus, the driver could hop out and throw you a beating. And that's never fun.

Lots..especially if you break a window, dent the car, or scare the driver and cause an accident. Throw snowballs at trees in a field, not at people or vehicles!

Did you hear about the kids that dropped a turkey on a passing car and the driver got into an accident and died? They're in jail now.

It's safer to throw them at people so they don't get in a an accident. Go to a shopping center hide behind cars and throw them. It is much more fun.

You could cause an accident and someone may be killed. How much trouble do you think you'll be in for being the cause of that?

If the cops don't get you, the 250lb driver of one of those cars WILL. I know from experience. I was 15 once.
