I drive a 1996 Honda Accord and when I make a right or left turn at relatively low speeds, I hear a clicking hoise for about three seconds. It is a front-wheel drive car, but the noise seems to be coming from the back of the car. I had the car inspected by Honda, and they replaced the CV boots (and I assume checked the CV joints as well). I'm not sure if that is the problem anyway, because if it was a problem with the CV joints or axles, wouldn't it be coming from the front of the car? Although it may just be in my mind, I don't think the noise is coming from the front. I also hear that if the CV joints were causing the problem, it would be worse when backing up and turning, and that is not the case either. The noise usually emerges when I accelerate out of a turn when the car is in first gear (automatic transmission).
