Your cabin air filter is behind the glove box. you have to take out the glove box and the glove box frame to get to the filter. If the filter has not been changed before you will also have to remove the plastic cross brace to get the filter out.

here's the instructions

If the glove box swings down without any support, the hinges can be overextended and damaged. To prevent damage to the glove box hinge, use a piece of foam or a bundle of shop towels to support it.
1. While holding the glove box remove the glove box stops—one each side there are tabs that pull out to release the stops.
2. Remove the bolts, then remove the glove box

3. Cut the plastic cross brace in the glove box opening with diagonal cutters in the area shown (on each end), and discard it. The plastic cross brace is at the lower rail and runs parallel to the lower dash opening. You may not have to do this if you have had the filter replaced before

4. Remove the bolts, the screws and the glove box frame—this is the lower rail of the glove box opening.

5.Remove the filter lid from the evaporator case. This is the vertical cover that has the filter behind it
then pull out the dust and pollen filter (B).
6. Install the filter in the reverse order of removal. Make sure that there is no air leaking out of the evaporator.

7. Install the glove box frame and glove box in the reverse order of removal.

hope that helps

there should be clips around the housing of the cabin air filter..you may have to use a screw driver to pry them off...their easier to put back on...once off you simply take off the top of the housing and remove the cabin air filter
