The driver was 15 with a learner's permit. The insurance just went out two weeks ago. We contacted the father of the kid who hit us, and he told us a sob story, and said he didn't know what else to say. This vehicle is how we get our kids to school, and my wife to work. Why should I have insurance if nothing happens to people without it?

i have a 1998 neon and i put an after market intake on it a while back and it always bugged me because the air filter was positioned right behind the motor and i figure its just sucking in warm/hot air and is not real effective. I don't see anything wrong with using the flex pipe to reposition the air filter right upfront bu the radiator so it can breath alot better. yeah its kind of ghetto but i think i will se the results and have a better ride.

My wife is looking at getting a VW Jetta. What is the difference between the S series and the S "PZEV" series? The only thing I see different is 4 letters that adds a grand to the price.

I'm considering installing a cold air intake system on my 02 Ford Focus w/ 2.0 sohc. I'm just trying to give this whimpy a-- engine a little more "umph", and maybe a bit better mpg. Is this conceivably possible with a short intake system, or a waste of $?

I don't think it is the compression release, because I get no compression even with all the valves closed(valve shafts are in the valve cover, I removed the valve cover.) Would'nt I get incredible compression while kicking over, spark plug in, all valves closed? I never did an actual compression check, But my other bike (same thing) is hard to kick , on the compression stroke. I want to make sure theres not something im overlooking before I pull the head off. Thank you for your answers.

As if life couldn't get any worse for me..my car ('98 nissan sentra-about 155,000 miles on it) just started (bout an hr ago) making this constant and annoying grunting noise when driving. The only time it stops is when I take my foot off the gas. What could it be? I'm getting an oil change at 5 pm so I hope they will look at it..but what do you think? how much will I have to pay?

Do you think that if a person has failed their driving test a number of times (like 3 times) then they should have to wait a period of time (like 6 months) before being able to retake it again or should they just be able to keep retaking it again and again?

I started getting gas at this station somewhere in CT and I noticed that unlike other places, the gas I get from this particular place gives my car about 50-65 miles more per tank in average. Could you share your thoughts about this?

I recently purchased a car. After a few weeks of getting everything in to get financing approved the dealer has now called and said that the APR was a promotion for a 2007 model and they sold me a 2008. Do I have to sign a new contract and change cars after the financing has been approved and the contract has been signed?

I have a 93 Pontiac Bonneville. Ever since yesterday morning, when I place the car in reverse to come out of the driveway, it doesn't stop! I don't know what is going on. But when i was driving throughout the day, it works fine! Then this morning as I was on my way to work, it did the SAME thing. It will keep rolling and when I apply my foot to the brakes, it won't stop. So what I did was hurried up and put it in park, and it stopped. But I have put the car in reverse yesterday and today after leaving home and I can brake with no problem. Have anyone experienced this before? Someone told me today that it could be my back brakes, but I am not sure, due to the fact that this happens to me only in the morning when backing up out of the driveway and not at any other time. Please help! Please, only serious answers.

I wholheartedly believe in wearing a helmet, that is not the question, but I believe there should no be a law to make you wear one. I am wondering if anyone else see it similar to me. Should there be a National Motorcycle Helmet Law, or should the states have it, or perhaps you might think no helmet should be forced on a rider's head. My opinion is "helmets good, infringing laws, bad"!
