ok so sometimes in the morning, but definately always at lunch time when it is hotter out, when I start my car it squeaks really loud for like 5+ seconds. The last two days I noticed when I reverse it kinda squeaks a little. Is this an engine belt or what is it? If so, how much does it cost to replace? it is an automatic

Hello, dahlin' - lol

Have a mechanic look at it. It's possible all you'll need is something called "belt dressing" which is a spray that lubricates the belt so it stops making that horrid sound.

Only a mechanic can tell you if it needs replacing or it's just in need of lubricant.

90% of the time it's the accessory belt itself that is just worn (stretched), and simply relacing it will stop the squeaks.

Most serpentine belts cost between $20-$30 for the part.
1/2 hr of labor.

Total cost will probably be about $60-$75.

It's probably one of the belts ether worn out or loose. They aren't much. Take it to a shop, should be under $100.00.
