I find it so annoying after I transfered into New York. Previously with Seoul/Tokyo metro, one line had just 2 platforms one going west/east or north/south. Also, each lines had different colours e.g. Line 5 was coloured violet, and trains were coloured violet or Line 2 was coloured green, and trains coloured green. However, with the NYC metro, things just dont seem to be in order. Why? Just a while ago I was about too board the wrong train, when I suddenly realized that this was the wrong train, /line, yet shares the similar colour and codes... So frustrating. Can anyone explain why the whole systems like this? Or how I have to cope it with for the next 2 years?

It's not a "power"" growl, it's more like a rattling, grumbly growl.
And it only makes this sound when it's in one or the other of these two gears. When I put it into neutral, the sound stops.
What causes this?

i was just wondering, how many miles do you usually get before having to replace the clutch? this is for a amateur driver who learned how to drive stick on this car, because when i first started driving i stalled a lot and over-revved, and i always used to burn my clutch, so im afraid that im going to need to replace it very soon....

I bought a used 96 Vulcan 800 in mint condition. I have had motorcycles in the past. They always had a view window that showed how much motor oil was in the crank case. Or they had a dip stick. This Vulcan has neither. It only has a chrome cap in the top of the crankcase on the right side that scews off with a flat screwdriver, but no way for me to know if it needs oil if it is low or too much or what. How can I tell when to add oil? Or when I am filling it how to know when it has enough? Please help me to find out if My Vulcan needs me to put some motor oil in her...because if she is low I want to add some....but I am afraid to add some without knowing if she is low because I dont want to overfill her. Thank you Your answer willbe greatly appreciated. Perry

My car has been having starting issues, it doesn't start up when it's hot out or has been sitting all day, but in the morning it starts just fine. I've been told it's some sort of relay that's broken, I'm wondering if anyone knows approximately how much something like this would cost to fix/replace. Any info is appreciated! Thanks!

What should I pay to have done, what can I do myself. It is a trailmaster with surge brakes (not working) 15in. wheels with a heavy duty axle. It needs new paint, wench, carpet (maybe the wood under the carpet too), rims. Basically a complete overhaul. Any tips tricks and info is appreciated. Also, If you know of a great place in MI to get this work done or get the products to do this work would help.

They are now quite aging cars yes? And the original parent company is bankrupt so any/all warranties on the cars are void... and I'm not sure anyone is making any engine/gearbox replacement parts for all the little things which break down on cars.

Do you pick up any vibes as to the character of person who might drive this? Or what kind of person would steal an old Rover 620 (reliability) to commit a crime?

Or any tips on how to buy one while on a budget. I would really perfer to buy rather than lease because I drive 50 miles round trip to work mon-fri. I am having a hard time justifing a purcharse like this especially since I live in Michigan and the whole purpose of me looking for a new car was reliability in the harsh winter.LOL But for some reason I have to have this car.

Hi all

i have a problem with my bike, its intermitent its judders when i brake but not all the time and it seems to to do this if i dont brake hard.I have had the head race bearing replaced but it still does it.I have taken it back to the shop where i bought it from and they suggested that it needs to be re-tightened they did this but i`m still getting the same problem!!!

I am also getting wheel/fork shaking when i do around a ton, this bike is more than capable of riding around the ton mark.

I let one of the testers test my bike,he come back and said that there was shaking/movement in the lower forks at the 100 mph speed but he did not find anything wrong with the braking. They are going to balance the front wheel and see where we go from there.I am not totally happy with this but i will see how it goes.

There was a mention of a floating disc or something,i think this was some kind of bullshit because i have had 5 bikes before and none of them had problem,

I was backing out of a driveway (in a car I do not own) and the front right tire went off the edge- it is now hanging over the side where the water drains underneath-- it's kind of like a mini alleyway that is deeper. Anyways, the car is balancing on the back right tire and the front end of the body, in which the middle section is completely on the ground. I don't know anything about cars, but I know I cannot move it by itself. Do I need to call a tow truck or can I wait some time (maybe hours) until my older brother can come??
