You could get a second job and save every penny you can. Or you could buy a used one.

Just save save save.
But think of other things. Even if you can swing the payments, you have to consider maintenance. Your warranty wont cover everything, and eventually the warranty will expire as well. A modern Cadillac is a very expensive car to have serviced/worked on. Even a basic oil change will cost twice as much as a average car - and oil changes arent covered under the warranty.
Can you afford the maintenance as well as the payments? And dont forget insurance. Your insurance will spike once you buy this car. Its going to cost you alot more to insure that vehicle than what you are driving now.
Check into all of these things before you do it.
Myself, if i were you livng in Michigan and having the drive you have to and from work i would buy some sort of 4WD SUV.
Take what i said in mind. Ive known plenty of people who bought cars and were barely able to swing the payments. They didnt even consider the upkeep/maintenance and insurance.

Well if the Cadillac CTS You want is the 2007 model which happens to be roughly be $31,000 I would recommend that you find a reliable bank and each week put 5 to 20 percent of your weekly income then if your like $6,000 to $7,000 and your credit is good try to get a loan from the bank then buy your CTS.If its in your local area then I would recommend you get Bank of America,But don't get Wachovia because its hard to get a loan there.Good Luck!

Go to their home page.

you can lease it for $300 / month. Which is mad cheap, if you buy one you are probably going to be paying around $500.

My Volvo was $580 / month. Luckily I paid it off in 2 years, but I made double payments every month.

Budget and Cadillac shouldn't be in the same sentence.
