My car has been having starting issues, it doesn't start up when it's hot out or has been sitting all day, but in the morning it starts just fine. I've been told it's some sort of relay that's broken, I'm wondering if anyone knows approximately how much something like this would cost to fix/replace. Any info is appreciated! Thanks!

It does sound like the ignition relay issue that was well known on the 1990-1993 Accords. The 1994 was a re-design, but it is likely they used a lot of the same parts.

On my 1990 that relay was in one of the least accessible places (up under the dashboard on the driver's side), so don't be surprised to spend $70 on the relay and 2-3 hours of labor to replace it (another ~$200). I did it myself, but I spent way more than 2-3 hours :-(

A good repair guide, like Chilton's should show you where the relay is and if it is accessible, you could swap it out yourself. It is a matter of unplugging the old one and plugging the new one in. Not a tough repair but likely inaccessible.

Hope that helped!

Main relay - $90 you can purchase one at any dealer in the parts dept., Labor $40-$60, maybe more at the dealer.
